Each year members new and old gather with friends and family to celebrate their hiking accomplishments and share their memories at the AMC Four Thousand Footer Club's Annual Awards Night and Dinner.

The Awards Celebration and the dinner are open to all – award recipients, family members, friends and any other interested parties. Directions to Exeter High School can be found at the bottom of this page.


ENTRANCE FEES:

$3.00 per person. Children 3 and under are free. Please pay at the door. No reservations for entrance fees are available. Entrance fees cover the program, vendors and any educational sessions.


AWARD RECEIPENT CHECK-IN:

If you are receiving an award, be sure to check in at the main table after you've paid the entry fee. We only identify the award envelopes of folks in attendance, and do not announce those that are not known to be present!

Program schedule for the 2025 Annual Awards Night

3:00 - 5:00 PM         Social Hour, Vendors & Exhibits

4:00 - 6:00 PM         Summit Series / speaker times & locations below

5:00 - 6:15 PM          Pizza dinner (by reservation) / cafeteria

6:15 - 6:30 PM          Presentation of Canine Awards / outside in courtyard*

6:30 ~8:30 PM         Presentation of Awards / auditorium

*Sorry, only service dogs are allowed in the school building.  If you are staying after your dog's award please arrange for humane care of your dog while you are inside.

DINNER INFORMATION:

Optional dinner is available by reservation ONLY. If you would like to join us, fill out the below reservation form. Then mail the form and payment to our dinner registrar, Gary Tompkins to the following address: 43 White Birch Dr., Gilford, NH 03249-7473. We do not accept electronic payment at this time. If you have additional questions or need assistance, please email Gary Tompkins. Please note: this is a school, so no alcoholic beverages may be consumed on the grounds.

DINNER FEES:

Adults, $14.00. Children 13 and Under, $7.00. Please note: dinner fees do NOT include entrance fees.

DIRECTIONS:

Exeter High School, One Blue Hawk Drive, Exeter, NH 03833

From the North or South:
From I-95, take Exit 2 (NH Route 101) to Exeter, leaving I-95 before the main toll booth and passing through the side toll booth.  Continue west on Route 101 for about 6 miles, then take Exit 9 (Route 27).  Turn right on Route 27, not passing over Route 101, and continue 2.3 miles.   The entrance (signed) will be on your right.

From the West:
Get on Route 101 and follow it to Exit 8 (North Rd., to Route 27).  Turn left on North Rd., passing over Route 101. In 0.4 miles, turn right on Route 27, and continue 1.2 miles.  The entrance (signed) will be on your left.
