If you are interested in becoming a member of the Club (i.e. recognized for completing one or more of these lists), you may get application forms here (see links below) to print and send to the Exeter address below, or, you may send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Please specify which list(s) you are interested in. Information about climbing the trail-less peaks is also available. (Please see the FAQ page for details.)

Whether you are well on your way to climbing these peaks, or just beginning, please note the dates of your ascents as you make them. If you apply to join the club you will be asked to fill in the dates on the application, to the best of your recollection (understanding that some hikers pursue the lists over a lifetime). You will also be asked to write an account of the ascent of your final peak (or some other peak, if you prefer). The primary purpose of this request is to afford us the benefit of hearing some of your reactions to your personal four thousand footer experience.  

Applicants to the Clubs need not be members of the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC). However, the Committee strongly urges all hikers who make considerable use of the trails to contribute to their protection and maintenance in some manner, and membership in the AMC is one of the more effective means of assisting those efforts. Membership in the AMC helps to fund education, research, trail maintenance, and conservation programs that benefit the outdoors. To learn more about the AMC visit www.outdoors.org or write to:

A complete application will include the application page(s), essay and fee(s).

The current application fee is $15 for the White Mountain Four Thousand Footer Club and for both the NE111 All Season and NE111 Winter. All other applications are $10. Checks should be made payable to AMC Four Thousand Footer Committee.

If more than one person is applying for membership in any of the clubs, please print and fill out separate application pages for each person. However you can combine them in one mailing and write one check to cover all fees.
